Eligibility Criteria for Syntel

1. Eligibility: 50% aggregate marks.-- in Xth, inter, graduation( No
standing backlogs allowed)
2. Selection Test: online test to be taken in the college only, for
1 hr-- syllabus-- aptitude, logical and analytical reasoning and a few
questions answerable by any engg graduate.
3. Results of written test: will be notified to college within 24
hrs, after the test.
4. Interview: Date, time and venue will be informed to the
college.
5. Date of online test: 9th January 2011-- tentative.
6. salary particulars: *will be notified later.

IndianOil requires 300 engineers in 2011

Recruitment
IndianOil recruits bright and professionally qualified people for its executive cadre. It follows a mix of open and campus recruitment.

For open recruitment advertisements are published in leading national dailies. Interested candidates meeting IndianOil’s requirements can apply online. Applications are then scrutinised and checked for eligibility. The candidates meeting the criteria set by IndianOil are then called for a written test. Based on their performance in the written test, they are further called for group discussion/ group task and interview.

For campus recruitment, IndianOil visits the IITs, NITs and other reputed technical institutes of the country for recruiting final year engineering students, and prominent business management institutes for final year MBA students. It also recruits Chartered Accountants from various centres of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

A. Qualifications
  1. The prescribed qualifications are a minimum of 65% marks in Engineering or Business Management from recognised institutes
  2. Pass class as declared by the respective Institute for SC/ST/PH candidates in the qualifying Degree examination
  3. Only full-time regular courses from recognised Indian universities/ institutes are considered
  4. For Boiler Operation Engineers (BOEs), the requirement of minimum 65% marks in the qualifying Engineering Degree examination is not applicable
Engineering Disciplines:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering /Technology from the following branches are generally considered:

  1. Chemical, including Petrochemical/ Polymer Engineering
  2. Mechanical [excluding Production/Industrial] Engineering
  3. Electrical

Accessing the student Module:

Following are suggested steps to follow while accessing GEMS:

2. Enter UserID: Respective Roll Numbers.

3. Password: 123456

4. Login will take you to "My Page";Click on the appropriate links in the left menu to access courses, assessments, etc.

5. Update your details and change passwords.

Jawahar Knowledge Centers Infosys Recruitment Process for 2011 Pass Outs

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates of the institutions which are established in the year 2005 or before are eligible

  • Candidate should have 60% or more in class 10th, 60% or more in Intermediate / Diploma and 68% or more in B. Tech / Degree (for MCAs they should have 68% or more in MCA)

  • All the eligible candidates are supposed to appear for 2 online assessment tests by 10th January 2011 which would be conducted by JKC

  • Only the candidates who are eligible as per the mentioned eligibility criteria and who appear for the 2 online assessment tests are allowed to participate in the recruitment events

  • A mail will be sent to all the JKC registered students with the instructions to take these online assessments soon


Recruitment Schedule:

  • JKC is planning to schedule the Infosys recruitment events for 2011 pass outs from 3rd Week of January 2011, confirmed schedules would be communicated soon

  • For each recruitment event the eligible candidates of that region would be mapped and hall tickets would be sent to their respective colleges as well to the candidates

Instructions for eligible candidates:

  • All the eligible candidates are here by instructed to appear for 2 online assessment tests

  • Candidates are requested to prepare according to the recruitment pattern of Infosys

  • Candidates are requested to prepare well on arithmetic, aptitude, verbal, reasoning and particularly the reading comprehension. It was observed that most of the candidates are disqualified in the written test due to their non performance in with English and reading comprehension.

  • So the candidates are advised to more exercise on reading comprehensions

  • Candidates are advised to assess their performance based on their scores in the online assessments conducted by JKC and work on their weak areas
